Reflect On an Online Instructional Tool/Tutorial

Learning Activity 1 - Reflect on an online instructional tool/tutorial

Your task: find any online instructional tool/tutorial developed by or for library staff. One source for instructional tools is PRIMO (Peer-Reviewed Instructional Materials Online). You will find the links to the “Site of the Month” and the PRIMO Database at

http://www.ala.org/acrl/aboutacrl/directoryofleadership/sections/is/iswebsite/projpubs/primo

Reflect on the content and design of the site you selected. Does the site agree with the ALA/ACRL “Diversity Standards”? If yes, in what way? How might the tool/tutorial be more reflective of inclusivity? Please post the link to the site, the site’s title, and your answers to these two questions to the discussion board. Keep your replies brief, around 100 words.

This project is administered by the South Central Regional Library Council with funding from the Institue for Museum and Library Services.
