CSLP stands for 'Collaborative Summer Library Program.' Visit their website https://www.cslpreads.org/ for more information.
CSLP Mission: "We empower libraries to foster community."
CSLP Vision: "We collaborate with libraries to create an inclusive literacy based program that is enjoyable for all ages, provide a reproducible program with a unified theme, share resources and offer professional support."
The New York State Library participates in CSLP and provides their materials (manuals, digital artwork, and posters) to public libraries each summer at no cost.
CSLP's virtual Summer Symposium recordings are now available! Visit www.cslpreads.org/summer-symposium to view the recorded sessions
The CSLP Manual is full of ideas for implementing your Summer Reading Program!
FLLS member libraries should have received the digital version of the manual on a USB drive. If you didn't receive it, reach out to Heidi.
The digital manual can also be accessed online by clicking here. (The New York State access code is required--if you need it, please contact Heidi.)
FLLS also has two print copies of the manual that can be borrowed. Member libraries can place a hold in Polaris--just search for "Adventure Begins at Your Library".
